Thank you. Im going to be busy for a while so I didnt really get a chance to pursue this but I should get around to it eventually. Basically I was just skeptical of the etymology of Wapakoneta being "white bones", since bones are already white, and wondered if it might be instead related to this word for flower (which apparently contains the same morpheme, but perhaps in a different sense).
