Bengali entries

I am new to this site. I find only two entries, that too without any meaning or description, in Bengali. Can I start creating a list of Bengali words with meanings in English, as well as the reverse? I don't find the appropriate links. Can anyone help me?

There are more entries, but they have no yet all been categorized properly. See Appendix:Units of time, and you'll see that there are more entries out there. One good way to get started is to pick a topic and enter words for that topic. Try adding the Bengali names of fruits or animals. Or add common verbs. The links below may also help:

Bengali characters

Please be aware: If you post an e-mail address you make very likely be blocked, as there is no way to ascertain if you are a spammer, on just generally open to other communication. After you are established as a genuine contributor one e-mail address might be OK.

If you know Bengali and English, you are welcome to share your knowledge by contributing here. Entering definitions from a dictionary may not be discovered immediately, but will get you banned. Bengali characters can be cut-and-pasted into edit boxes here. If you know the full alphabet used, it can be added to MediaWiki:Edittools by a request (giving all the characters in order) on the grease pit.

Well, here are the Bengali characters according to my own computer. It is possible to copy-and-paste these into articles. If you can tell us more about what order would be helpful, we can add them into the editing tools, as Connel noted above. Then, they will appear in a pull-down selection menu from the editing screen.

To start new Bengali entries, the easiest way is probably to create a linked list of words you want to create. Do this on your user page, or create a subpage from your user page if you like.
