Welcome!

Hello, and welcome to Wiktionary. Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Here are a few good links for newcomers:

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wiktionarian! By the way, you can sign your name on Talk (discussion) and vote pages using four tildes, like this: ~~~~, which automatically produces your name and the current date. If you have any questions, see the help pages, add a question to one of the discussion rooms or ask me on my Talk page.

Did you know that Wiktionary can be adapted to fit your style? Go have a look at your personal preference page (nicknamed “PREFS”)! In particular, you can choose the option to show hidden categories, which will be of great help if you are looking for work to do.

Again, welcome! --Eivind (t) 10:04, 23 February 2009 (UTC)Reply

Thanks. :) Voxii 10:05, 23 February 2009 (UTC)Reply
My pleasure! Seems like you already know what you are doing, but disliked seeing your talkpage totally empty. Keep up the good work (: --Eivind (t) 10:06, 23 February 2009 (UTC)Reply
Yeah, I used to edit pretty regularly up until a year or so ago. That was anonymously, but this time I thought I'd get a user account. I'm not really up to speed with all the templates and style guidelines, so if you see me doing anything wrong, please don't hesitate to point it out to me. I catch on quick but get bored reading too much policy at once. Voxii 10:17, 23 February 2009 (UTC)Reply
That's no problem. First of all, it is more important to have an entry which is outdated guideline-wise than not having any entry at all. Secondly, I don't know them all either (who does?) ... I just look at the others :) --Eivind (t) 10:20, 23 February 2009 (UTC)Reply
