User:JAnDbot for bot status (2) edit

  • Nomination: I hereby request the Bot flag for User:JAnDbot for the following purposes:
  • My bot is working on interwiki. Because of previous unsuccesful request, I would use it on en. Wiktionary only for categories. I cannot provide local examples of edits, because bot is blocked for long time, but you can see its French contributions.
  • Technically is possible to work in main namespace too, but if there is no will, I would use it only for categories from different computer than for main namespace. (you can see on many Wiktionaries that there was no problem for last years)

Support edit

  1.   Support i saw him working good in the german Wiktionary Master of Contributions (talk) 06:55, 17 December 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Oppose edit

  1.   Oppose because last time this user tried to get his bot approved (linked to above), it was malfunctioning and unclear what this bot would do that other bots did not already cover. Given the history here, I would be very hesitant to grant the bot flag. —Μετάknowledgediscuss/deeds 20:29, 20 December 2014 (UTC)[reply]
@Metaknowledge: Last time it was several years ago and in that time I wanted to "correct" links in main namespace, where are different rules about redirects in various languages. Now I want to work mainly in category namespace - now I am working on adding language categories from small wiktionaries and there ar now many missing in en.wikt and some incorrevct ones too. °JAn Dudík (talk) 20:02, 21 December 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Abstain edit

  1.   Abstain --Dan Polansky (talk) 11:06, 20 December 2014 (UTC). Note that some recent test edits are seen at contributions of JAn Dudík (talkcontribs); look at the contributions, and there at "Robot: Adding". Note that these are just few and are not in violation of WT:BOT; also, WT:BOT is a farce. --Dan Polansky (talk) 11:06, 20 December 2014 (UTC)[reply]
