Correct figures in CFI
edit- Voting on: Making the following changes in Wiktionary:Criteria_for_inclusion#Constructed_languages in the sentence reading:
At present another 13 of the 2600 languages in the ISO 639-3 list are constructed languages. Words in 10 of those languages have not yet been approved for inclusion in the English Wiktionary.
- Change the figure 2600 to 7000. An IP originally added this figure, and it is unknown where it comes from. By current count, the ISO 639-3 standard contains about 7,500 languages (which can be verified by downloading the ISO 639-3 SQL dump), so this figure should be changed.
- Change the figure 13 to 12 and the following figure 10 to 9. Since this paragraph lists only nine languages and the next paragraph contains three (for a total of twelve languages), the count should be updated to reflect that fact.

- Support. Also, for this kind of non-policy change that's highly unlikely to be controversial, I think it's fine to set the vote to last just a week. (SFAIK, we don't have any policies on how long a vote has to be run for.) —RuakhTALK 03:12, 15 February 2010 (UTC)

- Support I don't understand why such trivial changes should be voted at all. Not that Wiktionary concept of language is identical to ISO 639-3 but anyways. --Ivan Štambuk 14:51, 15 February 2010 (UTC)
- Re: voting at all: I agree, but see Wiktionary:Votes/pl-2009-03/Removing vote requirements for policy changes. Your nemesis had a hand in that. ;-) —RuakhTALK 16:06, 15 February 2010 (UTC)
- Support. On whether to have a vote: It seems good that we have CFI tightly under control; a vote for a highly uncontroversial change can be made last only one week. --Dan Polansky 17:21, 15 February 2010 (UTC)
