Azerbaijani edit

Etymology edit

Cognate with Turkish değirmi. From Common Turkic *tegirmi, equivalent to devir- +‎ -mi. The latter suffix is unattested in other words in Turkic languages and is likely a variant of -me (as in Chagatai تیکیرمه (täyirmä)).[1]

Adjective edit

dəyirmi (comparative daha dəyirmi, superlative ən dəyirmi)

  1. round, globular
  2. circular
    Synonyms: yumru, yuvarlaq, girdə
