      The gastrodermal tissue of both, in situ -labelled larvae and fixed adult sections, stained positive with lectins exhibiting toxicity, while the two lectins which had no effect on the development of larvae, Tectonin and CGL3, were negative (Fig. 2, CGL3 not shown).
