  1. (historical) hundred (administrative subdivision)
  2. From 1996 to 2007 a district of the state administration below lääni (province), responsible for law enforcement and prosecuting in its area. Since 2008 the police departments, prosecutor's offices, attachment officers and magistrates have been separate public offices.
