Etymology 1 edit
Adjective edit
mieludo (feminine mieluda, masculine plural mieludos, feminine plural mieludas)
- (literally) full of honey
- (figuratively) very sweet
- 2007, Leonardo Castillo Vicioso, El Quijote de Quisqueya, Lulu.com, Capítulo 1, page 10:
- ¡Ei cariño entre hombres, poi más cariño que sea; no debe de sei demasiado mieludo!
Affection between men, as affectionate as it may be; must not be excessively sweet!- (please add an English translation of this quotation)
Etymology 2 edit
This is actually also from miel (“honey”), except that now it is being used ironically and euphemistically, instead of saying what is really meant, i.e. grasoso (“greasy”).
