notice period (plural notice periods)
- (labour law) The time period between the receipt of the letter of dismissal and the last working day.

- The length of the notice period depends on the dirigente's seniority, and generally ranges from a minimum of six to a maximum of 12 months. The notice period starts running from the first day of the month following the notice of dismissal.
