  1. division into parcels; especially the dividing up of a large amount of land between the inhabitants of it so that each person receives an equal amount of land.
  2. (neuroscience, medical imaging) A map or annotation associating spatial locations (e.g., voxels) with parcel identities (e.g., anatomically or functionally circumscribed regions); the map or annotation that results from or delineates the results of parcellation (sense 1)
