saussurite (countable and uncountable, plural saussurites)

  1. (mineralogy) A tough, compact mineral aggregate, of a white, greenish, or greyish colour. It is an aggregate of albite, zoisite, prehnite and other aluminium silicates, and is produced by the alteration of feldspar.
