Usage notes edit
While tehát, azaz, vagyis, and szóval are used more often for logically and essentially following implications (like rewording), úgyhogy usually indicates a consequence that does not follow that quickly or essentially (but e.g. through decision). Úgyhogy is also more informal in some cases.
