  1. (geometry, rare) A quadrilateral.
  2. An aspect of two planets with regard to the Earth when they are distant from each other ninety degrees, or a quarter-circle.

Usage notesEdit

Although consistent with pentagon, hexagon, etc., this term is not common; quadrilateral is the more common term.
