trainbearer (plural trainbearers)

1. Someone who holds up the train of a dress, robe etc..

   She was first employed as the Queen's trainbearer, and went on to become her main lady-in-waiting.

2. Either of two species of long-tailed hummingbirds in the genus Lesbia, found in tropical South America.
