Reduplication of πᾶν (pân), neuter nominative singular (here used adverbially) of πᾶς (pâs, all, every, whole), with labial assimilation. This type of iterative compound is vanishingly rare in Ancient Greek, with only a handful furthermore known from Mycenaean Greek.[1]
