Usage notes

edit
  • The most common singular definite form, especially in formal contexts, is אי־הוודאות (í-havada'út), with the definite article ה־ (ha-) attaching to the second word. Another common form is האי־ודאות (ha'í-vada'út), with the definite article attaching to the term as a whole. The form האי־הוודאות (ha'í-havada'út), however, with two definite articles, is rare, and should probably be considered an error.
