  1. to commit adultery
    • Deuteronomy 5:17, with translation of the Jewish Publication Society:
      לֹא תִרְצַח וְלֹא תִנְאָף וְלֹא תִגְנֹב וְלֹא תַעֲנֶה בְרֵעֲךָ עֵד שָׁוְא׃‎‎
      Thou shalt not murder. Thou shalt not commit adultery. Thou shalt not steal. Thou shalt not bear false witness against thy neighbour.
