From ܡܠܘܫܐ (malwāšāʾ, zodiac sign; horoscope), from Akkadian 𒀯𒇻𒈦 (/⁠*mul-lumāšu⁠/) + the abstract noun ending -ܘܬܐ (-ūṯāʾ).
