      κίνησις γὰρ αὕτη μεγίστη δὴ τοῖς Ἕλλησιν ἐγένετο καὶ μέρει τινὶ τῶν βαρβάρων, ὡς δὲ εἰπεῖν καὶ ἐπὶ πλεῖστον ἀνθρώπων.
      kínēsis gàr haútē megístē dḕ toîs Héllēsin egéneto kaì mérei tinì tôn barbárōn, hōs dè eipeîn kaì epì pleîston anthrṓpōn.
      this movement in fact turned out to be the greatest for the Hellenes, and for a certain part of the barbarian world, and so to speak even for most of mankind.
