  1. begins an abstraction bridi (about a fact or alleged fact which someone holds in their mind)

    Susan possibly thinks/opines that music without a guitar is complex.
  2. x1 is a thought expressed by statement x2
    le la jan. se pensi cu du'u ri nelci la suzyn. kei lu do dirba mi li'u[1]
    Zhang's thought is a thought (of him liking Susan) expressed by the statement "You are dear to me".

  • A sumti phrase begun with du'u ends with the elidable terminator kei unless no ambiguity results (in which case the terminator can be elided).
