What the heck even is the neuter in Old French? The two references both mention the neuter form of adjectives but neither of them mentions when to use it.
Is it like using adjectives to qualify non-nouns in French like "fumer est mauvais pour la santé" (fumer is a verbal infinitive and thus has no gender). Such cases always take the masculine singular in modern French, is this what it's on about? If so, why list it as a separate gender? Renard Migrant (talk) 23:08, 11 February 2016 (UTC)
