     By January 26 our Forces had occupied Biscia, the extreme western railhead of the Eritrea Railway, which runs from that town 140 miles to Asmara, and thence to Massaua.

Usage notes

An older spelling seems to be Biscia, which may have been used during Italian rule; see quotation.
