  గంగ పారుచు' ౦డు, కదలని గతి తోడ; మురికి బారుచు'౦డు, మ్రోఁత తోడ; దాతయోర్చిన' ట్ల ధముడో' ర్వఁగా లేడు.

  gaṅga pārucu' 0⁄16ḍu, kadalani gati tōḍa; muriki bārucu'0⁄16ḍu, mrōn̆ta tōḍa; dātayōrcina' ṭla dhamuḍō' rvan̆gā lēḍu.

  The Ganges flows with a tranquil course, but a foul stream rushes with a roar. Thus the base can never be mild as the noble.
