What an incredibly uninformed and stereotypical opinion. If you knew a damn thing you'd never make the idiotic "Beatles" statement that Oasis bashers always make. Virtually *nothing* that they have done has been overly Beatleslike, with the notable exception of "Whatever," which 95% of people haven't heard anyway. The only thing Beatleslike about Oasis is that they are British, and meld pop and rock.

This was my fave anthology song. It was _so_ beatleslike in its upbeat, love message. John may have written it on his own (the basic theme) but it seemed to me almost as if they had written it all together. Thier four musical styles were so different when on their own, but when they put their minds down together to create one joint effort, it was magic. It always will be.

Any song can be made to sound Beatleslike if one throws in a harmonium, a melotron, some backwards tape loops, the odd innocentish drug reference, a few similar rhymes and sings with a bit of an accent.

Hey. This is a new demo was just released of this guy who sounds very much like catchy beatles. I even ordered his demo it is so good. R.E. Blitz, and you can listen to his music on mp3.com. It is very professional sounding unlike the rest of the junk on mp3.com, and AMAZING. Go give it a listen. Falling sounds like a good old Stairway-like rock sound, Drowning-just a nice sound, and Mystery Pair Man-The upbeat favorite, with this beatles harmonies that will blow your mind.

I always find it annoying when writers compare groups to The Beatles, because the comparison is really never thought out, and it is probably impossible for any group to come close to truly being Beatleslike. Those 4 became what they did by each being exceptional and by coming along at the perfect time in history.
