2007 — Kyl Chatwal, "More than another silly trend", The Record, 27 February 2007:
An interesting new appearance on the social/environmental scene illustrates the absurdity perfectly: hard on the heels of the metrosexual phenomenon, there's a new trend called ecosexuality.
In celebration of Valentine's Day, the interdisciplinary arts organization the Lab is featuring performance artist and sex educator Annie Sprinkle and her partner, artist Elizabeth Stephens, doing "love-inspired" mini-performances, talking about "ecosexuality" and exploring "How can an ecstatic approach to our sexualities help counter our culture of greed and environmental destruction?"
And we’re working on two books: one about our Love Art Laboratory art project (loveartlab.org) and the other a collection of interviews with notable ecosexuals about ecosexuality (sexecology.org).
