    In yesterday’s Daily Telegraph, an eminent scientist, David Colquhoun, professor of pharmacology at University College London, launched a broadside at degrees in complementary medicine, referring to a “fruitloopery spectrum” of nonsensical and even harmful areas of study.
    His comments may well cause institutions to take stock and fee-paying students to question the rationale of studying “make-believe medicine”. Either that, or we will shortly see the introduction of a brand new combined BTEC-Bacc in Fruitloopery.
