For documentary purposes the German Federal Archive often retained the original image captions, which may be erroneous, biased, obsolete or politically extreme. Zentralbild Löwe 22.2.1959-Rennschlitten-Meisterschaften-Nur ein Wertungslauf der Frauen konnte am 21.2.1959 bei den Deutschen Rennschlitten-Meisterschaften in Oybin ausgetragen werden. Die Bahn war durch Neuschnee wesentlich langsamer geworden, so dass die Zeiten des Vortages bei weitem nicht erreicht wurden. Schnellste war Bärbel Kuehner (Dynamo Schierke) mit 4:06,95 vor Lore Rosenkranz (SG Oybin) mit 4:08,8. UBz: Bärbel Schmeisser auf der Strecke. (6. Platz). |
