English: Church of St John the Baptist, Baginton (view NW) Sandstone construction. According to Pevsner, the chancel is Norman, the lancet windows and priest's doorway indicate 13th century. He also describes the bell-turret as "corbelled out below and square and then pulled in to make an octagonal top stage with short spire".
