Na imagem é possível ver, no canto inferior esquerdo e em primeiro plano, um banco de areia cujas aves da região (principalmente gaivotas) usam como local de descanso, alimentação e reprodução; mais longe ao fundo é possível visualizar a Fortaleza de Nossa Senhora dos Prazeres (https://pt.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fortaleza_de_Nossa_Senhora_dos_Prazeres_de_Paranaguá), do século XVIII. No canto inferior direito, um dos barcos que fazem a ligação diária entre Paranaguá e a vila de pescadores da Ilha do Superagui.
