Description
English: This is a drawing of a (historical) kitchen utensil called "haahla" in Finnish. It consists of two interlocked hooks and it has been used to hang a pot over an open fire hearth. The upper hook was used to hang the device to a horizontal rod or similar and the pot was hanging from the lower hook. The notches in the shaft of the upper hook make it possible to regulate the height of the pot.
