English: Perennial pepperweed is super abundant in the open fields in and around Reno, Washoe County, Nevada. It is common in pastures, along roads, and along trails and paths and similarly regularly disturbed settings. The perennial growth habit, inflated but laterally compressed fruits, and petiolate simple stem leaves combine to distinguish perennial or broadleaved pepperweed from other Lepidium (Cardaria) species.
