PLATFORM GEARING NO. 5 This carriage is intended for hard service, although it does not have the style ofother carriages. With this kind of fifth wheel we get a good bearing when it is turnedunder the body. These are made solid with a plate on the two beds. Fig. 1 repre-sents the lower part.
