From Ancient Greek Ἑκατόμπεδον (Hekatómpedon), from ἑκατόν (hekatón) + ποδός (podós), literally “hundred-footer”.

- (historical) The Temple of Athena upon the Acropolis, formerly in the location of the present Parthenon.
- (historical) The specific chamber within the Parthenon which contained the cultic chryselephantine statue of Athena.
