1. A traffic intersection in the West End of London, having connections with Piccadilly, Regent Street, Shaftesbury Avenue, Haymarket, Coventry Street and Glasshouse Street; proverbially visualised as being very busy with people.

   I've never seen the place so crowded – it was like Piccadilly Circus!
