Reconstruction:Latin/illince
Latin
editEtymology
editAdverb
edit*illince (not comparable) (Old Latin)
Reconstruction notes
editIt is conceivable that the Romance reflexes do not continue the archaic *illince directly and come instead from Classical illinc, later suffixed a second time with -ce. The same ambiguity occurs with *tunce.
