Note that *pähkä is a word that unattested in any modern Finnic languages, and thus, it only survives in affixed variants *pähkäs, *pähkänä, *pähkele, *pähken (oblique *pähkeme-), *pähkenä, *pähkin (oblique *pähkime-), and *pähkinä.
