@Skiulinamo, I know that Koebler links this possibly to pēniculus (“little tail, ">pinky"”), but is that right ? Why does this look more like pendulus (“hanging”) to me ? @Leasnam: You're absolutely right. Now that I have access to my sources, I've gone and added that to the page. Apparently the OHG took on all the meanings of pēniculus. -- Skiulinamo (talk) 18:29, 30 January 2023 (UTC)
