Wrong sense of bilingualism
editThe gloss given of "bilingualism" is of the wrong sense, but I don't see the correct sense at bilingualism. As I understand it διγλωσσία describes a social, not an individual phenomenon. Per el:διγλωσσία, "Η διγλωσσία ως χαρακτηριστικό, αναφέρεται περισσότερο σε κοινωνίες και κοινότητες, παρά στους ίδιους τους ανθρώπους" (Bilingualism [διγλωσσία] as a feature refers to societies and communities rather than to people themselves). I would gloss that as something like: "(of a community) Using two different languages". Cnilep (talk) 00:33, 29 January 2013 (UTC)
The translation as hypocrisy also seems not quite right. As I understand it, διγλωσσία in this sense is a practice, not an attitude: "speaking out of both sides of one's mouth"; flip-flopping, U-turn, or volte-face in their political senses. Cnilep (talk) 00:48, 29 January 2013 (UTC)
