The online versions of the ninth (?) edition of the LSJ Greek–English Lexicon at Perseus and Thesaurus Linguae Graecae both capitalise this Ancient Greek word as Κεχηνώδης; however, scanned copies of the seventh (1883) and eighth (1901) editions at the Internet Archive both list the word as κεχηνώδης (with identical entries and, in both editions, on page 802/1 — so much for the 8th ed. being "revised throughout"…). Furthermore, in the scholion cited in those entries,† the word appears in the form κεχηνῶδεϲ — decapitalised in a source that uses capital letters in sentence case and for proper nouns. Accordingly, I believe that this Ancient Greek word should be lemmatised at the decapitalised spelling, κεχηνώδης (kekhēnṓdēs). — I.S.M.E.T.A. 06:51, 2 December 2014 (UTC)Reply
