Iḍāfah

Notwithstanding colloquial/popular use (and I am all for descriptivism, especially when it comes to phonology), to what extent should Iḍāfah (not) be noted in the transcription of ٱلْمَمْلَكَة ٱلْعَرَبِيَّة ٱلسُّعُودِيَّة (al-Mamlaka(tu) 'l-ʿArabiyya(tu) 's-Suʿūdiyyah)? I am aware that this would only be relegated to the most formal (read: unnecessarily posh) of speeches, but still have to ask. –Konanen (talk) 14:00, 28 May 2024 (UTC)
