I think this is only one etymology not two, as the root of the word is from protosemitic and the meaning is as mentioned in etymology 1. Wouldn't it be more accurate to combine them? --Maha Odeh 05:42, 12 June 2008 (UTC)

You’re right, those are a single etymology. So there are two etymologies, not three. The first two have been combined again. —Stephen 06:35, 12 June 2008 (UTC)
