edit@AryamanA Hello, the dictionaries I'm looking at (McGregor and Bahri) have this word as 'मंद', with Bahri giving 'मंदा' as "(a) slow, etc. = मंद". What I think happened here is that the Sanskrit-derived मंद got conflated with Persian مانده (Urdu ماندہ), with somewhat similar meaning. Does that make sense? Exarchus (talk) 15:49, 2 July 2023 (UTC)
