@Kutchkutch: I want to bring it to your notice that Inqilabi replaced {{inherited}} with {{derived}} here, despite this being against consensus. The discussion on user talk:Bhagadatta said so; clearly me, you and Bhagadatta are voting for {{inh}} in this case. Only you can solve the case since Inqilabi refuses to discuss logically and rationally, and wants to dictate his terms -- “give me time to set the guidelines/rules for once and for all”. Any attempt of mine to fix this would be met with Inqilabi's reversion and edit warring; hence calling you. @Svartava2: Whether to use {{inherited}} or {{derived}} is question of whether Sanskrit *vardalaka and/or Prakrit *vaddalaa/*vaddalaga are considered to be part of the same word family as Sanskrit vardala. Bhagadatta has proposed considering them all to be a part of the same word family for simplicity (hence {{inherited}}), while Inqilābī has proposed considering them all to be a part of the separate word family (hence {{derived}}). The following:

Inherited from {{inh|bn|sa|*वर्दलक}}, from {{m|sa|वर्दल}} {{inc-ext|bn|ka}} in which, for simplicity, some part is omitted:

Inherited from {{inh|bn|sa|-}} {{m|sa|वर्दल}} {{inc-ext|bn|ka}} because that vardala + -ka would make *vardalaka is obvious and showing the reconstructed compound is superfluous.
