Don't have a good source, but this is one of a quartet of terms one encounters in Japanese discussions online about work, jobs, and career:

• ライスワーク (raisuwāku) rice work, ricework (see also ライス)
• ライクワーク (raikuwāku) like work, likework
• ライフワーク (raifuwāku) life work, lifework (see also ライフ)
• ライトワーク (raitowāku) light work, lightwork (compare ライトアップ, ライトダウン)
