About the Hakka quotation from the song "古錐仔"
editThe lyrics-writer uses Meinong Hakka, a Siyen (Sixian) subdialect Hakka, it contains some pronunciation that is different from "mainstream" one.
- Ke pî-am-pû: He used 適彼暗晡,However, ke is a demon. adj. means "that", and "pû-am-pû" (晡暗晡) means "am-pû" (暗晡, night), which has variants "pî-am-pû", and "pîn-am-pû" (see: ref1, ref2), so I used "該晡暗晡".
- Khì-nún: it is considered a variant of khì-dén (騎等 ride-[continuous-aspect]): ref, so I used "騎等". (cc @Justinrleung) --Yoxem (talk) 03:48, 24 July 2021 (UTC)
- @Yoxem: We should not change the character choice of the original author/lyricist when quoting. I am aware that these may not follow the current standards by the Taiwan MoE. — justin(r)leung { (t...) | c=› } 07:00, 24 July 2021 (UTC)
- Is it ok to use [[該晡暗晡|適彼暗晡]] or similar syntax? (cc @Justinrleung)--Yoxem (talk) 07:02, 24 July 2021 (UTC)
- @Yoxem: Yes, I've fixed that. — justin(r)leung { (t...) | c=› } 07:21, 24 July 2021 (UTC)
