Arabic influence on the name Alighieri

I noticed there was no explanation of the added "L" to the name. Could this be an Arabic influence? (similar e.g. to Alhambra, Spain), "AL" being the determiner in Arabic. שרעפים (talk) 14:45, 13 July 2024 (UTC)
