Anglo-Saxon America

edit

I’ve never heard of this. Sounds like supremacist propaganda. —Stephen 23:36, 31 October 2007 (UTC)Reply

Used by Latin American authors to distinguish the portion of the Western hemisphere that the Anglos settled from the rest. Usage goes back to beginning of 20th C. and includes Marxist authors. I wouldn't be surprises to find it in supremacist literature, but haven't yet. This will be a keeper. DCDuring 01:28, 1 November 2007 (UTC)Reply

Attested RfV def. Added and attested another sense. All from books. Should I add quotes showing historic frank racism? DCDuring 02:47, 1 November 2007 (UTC)Reply
