Should the "nitʼą́ą́" in the etymology be "ntʼą́ą́" (since the entry title doesn't have an "i" after the second N)? 71.66.97.228 02:52, 15 January 2010 (UTC)Reply

No, ni+consonant is frequently equivalent to n+consonant. The -i- is sometimes written but more often drops out. In pronunciation, the -i- is sometimes restored even when not written. When you are looking for a word that begins with n+consonant, you also need to look under ni+consonant, and vice versa. —Stephen 02:58, 15 January 2010 (UTC)Reply
