The Greek word Κελτοί (later Κέλτες) is a direct interpretation of either a Celtic word related to Old Irish Goidhel or to a Germanic word related to the O.H.G. Walh (most likely the first). So, meseems that the relation of Κελτοί with the A. Greek legendary figures of Κελτός and Κελτίνη (whose etymologies is dubious) constitutes original research.
